Lester J. Maitland

The first pilot to successfully complete a flight from america mainland to Hawaii. He became a member of the Air Services division from the U.S. Military at age group nineteen. After Globe Battle I, he developed promotion for the Military Atmosphere Corps by taking part in atmosphere races and pioneering plane tickets. He piloted an Atlantic-Fokker C-2 aircraft nicknamed “The Parrot of Heaven” on its inaugural voyage from California to Hawaii. He was created in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Before his popular flight, he worked well as an help towards the visionary Air Push General Billy Mitchell.
