An American science fiction author and editor, he’s most well-known for his Winston Research Fiction series. The initial novel in the series, Marooned on Mars, was released in 1952. He proved helpful as a brief order cook on the Light Tower Cafe in NY. He was honored the 1972 E. E. Smith Memorial Prize for Imaginative Fiction by the brand new England Research Fiction Association. He wedded Helen Schlaz in 1945. He was an associate of the all-male literary banqueting membership, the Snare Door Spiders, that was the foundation for Isaac Asimov’s imaginary group of secret solvers.
