Televangelist and preacher popular through the entire 1960s and ’70s. He was known for his “beliefs curing,” which allowed him to get rid of health problems through “magic water.” A major accident in 1960 still left his arm almost severed. Instead of own it amputated he visited a close by revival, where an evangelist reportedly healed it through beliefs. His “magic drinking water” was discovered to contain possibly parasites, and he didn’t have a permit to market it, causing problems for his evangelism. He was created in Greenwood, SC, his mom W. M. Jenkins also a favorite evangelist around Florida in the 1960s. He wedded Linda Harkins. David Jeremiah, delivered a comparable period as him, also was a favorite televangelist.
