Leonard Slatkin

Composer and conductor who was simply the principal visitor conductor for the LA Philharmonic from 2004 to 2007. He produced the initial digital stereo documenting of “The Nutcracker” by Tchaikovsky in 1985. He examined conducting on the Juilliard College where he was students of Jean Morel. He debuted being a conductor in 1966 when he was employed as artistic movie director and conductor for the brand new York Youngsters Symphony. From 1968 until 1977, he was the helper conductor for the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. He was honored the Country wide Medal of Arts in 2003. His dad was Felix Slatkin, the creator from the Hollywood String Quartet that his mom Eleanor Aller proved helpful as cellist. He wedded his 4th wife Cindy McTee in 2011. He produced some digital recordings for RCA, like the symphonies of Ralph Vaughan Williams.
