Recognized as the daddy of contemporary Orthodox Judaism in the us, this rabbi offered the congregation of New York’s Jewish Centre Synagogue and presided within the Torah Umesorah (a nationwide organization of Hebrew classes). After graduating from Cambridge School, he studied on the School of London as well as the Berlin Hildesheimer Rabbinical Seminary. His initial rabbinical post was on the Knesset Israel synagogue in Cleveland, Ohio. His released works are the reserve Living Judaism as well as the essays “What’s Orthodox Judaism?” and “Contemporary Tendencies in American Judaism.” His relationship to Irma Rothschild led to four daughters. He was created in Uhersky Brod, Moravia (situated in the modern-day Czech Republic) to a rabbi dad. Writer and rabbi Shmuley Boteach implemented Jung’s American Orthodox custom.
