Leland H. Hartwell

Biologist who was simply the director from the Fred Hutchinson Cancers Research Middle in Seattle. He received a Nobel Award in physiology or medication in 2001 for his breakthrough of protein substances that control the department of cells. He went to the California Institute of Technology in 1961 as well as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He uncovered the fundamental function of checkpoints in cell routine control while exploring and dealing with fungus. He was raised in LA, and sometimes lectured at Az State School. He received the Nobel Award alongside Paul Nurse.
