Taiwanese artist and art instructor who became known for his Western-style paintings. He began painting in 1924 at age seventeen. He trained at the Country wide Taiwan Normal College or university. His chemist boy Yuan Tseh Lee became the very first Nobel Reward Laureate of Taiwan. He was a modern of fellow designer Frida Kahlo.
