Aviation pioneer who was simply nicknamed ‘Gyro’ for his numerous innovations to help enhance the security and navigation of early airplanes. In 1992 he was inducted in to the Naval Aviation Hall of Honor in the Country wide Naval Aviation Museum in Florida. He created an early desire for aviation after viewing a dating airline flight by Henri Farman. His invention from the autopilot allowed the soaring of planes during the night, and his parachutes and retractable getting gear helped even more of his fellow pilots to endure aerial mishaps. The child of the aeronautic engineer dad, he together with his sibling once flipped the house into an aircraft parts manufactory. Several years after him, the Englishman Geoffrey Dehavillan also helped advanced aviation along with his personal type of planes.
