Laura Lee

American soul singer who discovered success in the 60’s and 70’s with hit singles like “Filthy Man,” “Women’s Like Legal rights” and “Rip Off.” She was compelled to keep the music sector due to a sickness before returning being a gospel musician with 1983’s Jesus may be the Light of MY ENTIRE LIFE. She toured with her adoptive mother’s Detroit-based gospel music group The Meditation Performers in the 50’s. She produced a cameo appearance in the cult blaxploitation film Detroit 9000 in 1973. She was used by E. Allan Rundless through the band The Spirit Stirrers and his wife Ernestine. She is at a romantic relationship with R&B tale Al Green in the 70’s.
