Laura Ingalls Wilder

Writer of the autobiographical American pioneer-themed Small House over the Prairie series. Her family’s years in Wisconsin became the foundation of two of the very most well-known books in the series: Small House over the Prairie and Small House in the best Woods. In 1882, a couple of months before her sixteenth birthday, she recognized her initial teaching position within a one-room college. She also proved helpful for a while being a dressmaker and didn’t complete her senior high school education because of her early relationship. When composing books about her child years, she enlisted assistance from her child. She was the next oldest of five kids created to Caroline Lake Ingalls and Charles Phillip Ingalls. In her past due teens, she wedded Almanzo Wilder. The few had one making it through kid, Rose (created 1886), and their relationship was strained by a combined mix of illness, impairment, and drought. She was portrayed by Melissa Gilbert in the tv screen series Small House within the Prairie.
