Pioneer in the Christian rock and roll genre who was simply inducted in to the Gospel Music Association Hall of Popularity in 2001. He agreed upon his first single record agreement in 1966 after executing using the group Dark Country Seven for just two years. He was the main topic of the controversial 2008 documentary Fallen Angel: The Outlaw Larry Norman: A Bible Tale. He previously a son called Michael along with his second wife, Sarah Finch, before they divorced in 1995. He helped to start the profession of fellow Christian rock and roll star Randy Stonehill .
