Avant-garde composer known for using digital musical instruments and computers in his function. He co-founded and edited “Supply: Music from the Avant Garde,” the avant-garde music periodical. He received his Master’s level in music through the College or university of North Tx University in 1952. Then attended Mills University and the College or university of California, Berkeley. He finished “World Symphony,” renowned composer Charles Ives’ unfinished function. He relocated to Denton, Tx, along with his wife Edna. His function “John Explain” utilized a recording of the interview with John Cage.
