Power-hitting middle fielder who spent more than 10 years using the Houston Astros and received a global Series Championship using the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011. Called the National University Player of the entire year while playing for Grain in 1977. He received the 2011 NL Return Player of the entire year award using the Cardinals. He previously four daughters along with his wife Cara Berkman. He performed alongside Craig Biggio for several years within the Houston Astros.
