Her 2013 memoir Warrior Princess: A U.S. Navy SEAL’s Trip to Developing Transgender, details her struggle as a female within a man’s body and her best embrace of a lady identity. She educated on the Virginia Armed forces Institute and eventually joined america Navy. Carrying out a two-decade armed forces career, she made a decision to go through male-to-female sex reassignment medical procedures. She was the main topic of a 2014 CNN documentary entitled Female Valor: The Kristin Beck Tale. Delivered Christopher Beck, she was wedded twice ahead of coming out being a transgender person. Her initial marriage led to two sons. She and activist Janet Mock both penned memoirs about their journeys to getting transgender women.
