Canadian defender who produced his NHL debut using the Columbus Blue Overcoats in 2007. He performed for the St. Louis Blues for just two seasons, then became a member of the Calgary Flames in 2013 and quickly became another captain for the group. He performed for the WHL’s Medication Hate Tigers from 2003 to 2007, documenting 120 aids across 241 video games. He was chosen 67th general in the 2005 NHL Draft from the Blue Overcoats. He was created to Terri and Doug Russell and he includes a twin sibling called Ryan. He was coached in small hockey by his dad. He became teammates with fellow defender Tag Giordano within the Flames.
