Lengthy distance swimmer who earned precious metal medals for the 1500 meter freestyle on the 1992 and 1996 Olympics, and a sterling silver medal on the 2000 Olympics. He visited college at Indooroopilly Condition Primary College and Brisbane Guys’ University, and began going swimming seriously at age group eight. He’s considered a tale in Australia, as he continues to be honored a Medal from the Purchase of Australia, been inducted in to the Sport Australia Hall of Popularity, and became an Australian Living Treasure. He was wedded to Symantha Perkins from 1997 to 2012, and got three kids with her. He was component of an Australian Olympic going swimming group in 2000 that included Ian Thorpe.
