Kent Haruf

An American novelist, he’s most widely known for works like the Tie That Binds and Where You Once Belonged. In 2006, he received the Dos Passos Award for Books. He done a chicken plantation with a rehabilitation medical center in Colorado, and he also discovered work at a structure site in Wyoming. In 1984, he released his first book, The Link That Binds. His 1999 bestselling function, Plainsong, was a finalist for the Country wide Reserve Award. He was created in Colorado, and he went to Nebraska Wesleyan College or university and, afterwards, the Iowa Authors’ Workshop. He and his wife, Kathy, became parents to three daughters. He and Ethan Canin both researched on the Iowa Authors’ Workshop.
