Kenny Clarke

Nicknamed “Klook,” Clarke was a jazz and bebop drummer and bandleader who released the album Bohemia AT NIGHT being a bandleader. As a man, he used various ensembles, like the Jeter-Pillars music group. He continued to be always a home drummer at Minton’s Playhouse in 1941. He proved helpful as a residence drummer for Savoy Information. He had kid with Annie Ross. He performed drums on the 1955 record by Thelonious Monk, put together of addresses of well-known Duke Ellington music.
