Kenneth Rexroth

Poet from the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Renaissance and known for Sky, Ocean, Birds, Trees, Globe, House, Beasts, Blooms; The Phoenix as well as the Tortoise; as well as the Signature of most Factors. Also a translator, he created English variations of Chinese language, Japanese, and Greek text messages. He went to the Artwork Institute of Chicago and afterwards taught on the School of California, Santa Barbara. He was one of the primary American poets to test out the haiku as well as other Japanese poetic forms. He was the Indiana-born kid of Charles Rexroth and Delia Reed. He was wedded 3 x and acquired two daughters. He was among the inspirations behind Jack port Kerouac’s book The Dharma Bums.
