Ethiopian-American musician nominated at this year’s 2009 Grammy Awards for his solitary “Bid farewell to Love” within the category of Greatest Urban/Alternate Performance. Given birth to Kenna Zemedkun, he was influenced to instruct himself to try out the piano upon hearing U2’s Joshua Tree. He founded and created the Summit around the Summit clean drinking water effort. He and Justin Timberlake partnered as much as re-launch MySpace and he also offers a strategic advancement company known as Translator. He was created the oldest child within an Ethiopian family members. They immigrated to Cincinnati, Ohio before shifting to Virginia Seaside, Virginia. He went to school with close friends and collaborators Chad Hugo and Pharrell.
