Ken Sugimori

Biography

Japanese gaming designer and illustrator most well-known for having designed and drawn all 151 characters in the initial Pokemon franchise. He spent some time working on many incarnations from the franchise, like the movies, manga and cards. He proved helpful as an illustrator over the video gaming fanzine Video game Freak in the early-to-mid 80’s. He afterwards had a submit the introduction of the 1989 arcade video game Mendel Palace. He in addition has performed illustration and artwork design function for the Super Smash Bros. group of video gaming. He as blessed in Tokyo, Japan. He and Satoshi Tajiri are two from the co-creators from the Pokemon franchise.
