Kemal Sunal

Well-known for creating the comedic role of Saban (a component that he played out in over twelve Turkish films from the 1970s and ’80s), Sunal can be significant for his comic title roles in the films Kibar Feyzo, Zubuk, and Salako. After going to Vefa SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, he performed in a number of productions in the Kenterler and Devekusu Kabare Theatres and produced his display debut in the 1972 film Tatli Dillim. His last film, Propaganda, premiered one year ahead of his sudden loss of life. His relationship to Gul Sunal created children called Ezo and Ali. He and fellow acting professional Filiz Akin both made an appearance in various Turkish films from the 1970s.
