Best known seeing that the wife of Costa Rican leader Jose Figueres Ferrer, she also served in the Legislative Set up of Costa Rica and worked being a diplomat. While participating in Mary Washington University in Virginia, she became involved with social activism with respect to the financially disadvantaged. An associate of the Danish family members, she was raised in NY. Pursuing their 1945 wedding ceremony, she and Jose Figueres Ferrer became parents to four kids. Her little girl Christiana Figueres was raised to be always a well-known environmental and environment transformation activist, and her kid José María kept office through the 1990s as Leader of Costa Rica. She became First Female of Costa Rica soon after the more well-known Eva Peron kept this same name in Argentina.
