Popular actress from the 1930s who was simply blacklisted by Hollywood through the McCarthy era, effectively ending her operating career. She found LA at age group 14 to recuperate from tuberculosis inside a warm, dried out climate. Becoming involved with politics through Hollywood movies like OUR DAY TO DAY Breads, she invoked the Fifth Amendment in testifying prior to the Home Un-American Actions Committee, and later on went for lieutenant-governor of NY Condition. She was wedded to Charles Vidor, who was simply the movie director of Guy About Town; both met on arranged and after marrying experienced one son collectively. Among her earliest functions is at the 1931 film Mata Hari, starring Greta Garbo.
