Kaiser Wilhelm II

The Ruler of Prussia and the ultimate Kaiser (Emperor) of Germany, Wilhelm II ruled from 1888 until 1918 and was largely in charge of Germany’s involvement in Globe War I. An extremely unpopular number, he was pressured to forego the throne in past due 1918, of which stage he fled to holland. Following a 1888 loss of life of Emperor Wilhelm I, then-Prince Wilhelm’s dying dad was briefly Emperor prior to the prince assumed the name of Wilhelm II at age twenty-nine. By many accounts, he was relatively hot-headed and psychologically unstable. His character no doubt experienced a major impact on his less-than-stellar status, aswell as within the course of Western history. The child of Victoria, Princess Royal and Prince Frederick William of Prussia as well as the grandson of Queen Victoria of Britain, Wilhelm II fathered six sons and one child through his relationship to Augusta Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein. His second relationship, to Hermine Reuss of Greiz, lasted from 1922 until his loss of life in 1941. Wilhelm II regularly clashed with German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck and eventually pressured von Bismarck to resign his workplace.
