Biography

Spanish Tenebrist painter and printmaker who was simply called Lo Spagnoletto and was referred to as a respected painter from the Spanish school. He examined artwork in Rome, Italy in the first 1600s. His most recognized followers had been Salvator Rosa and Luca Giordano. He wedded Caterina Azzolino in 1616 and acquired a little girl. Another Spanish painter like him was Jose Aparicio.
