Jurgen Moser

Mathematician who was simply a professor in MIT and NY University. He gained the initial George David Birkhoff Award in 1968 for his focus on the idea of Hamiltonian dynamical systems. He went to the School of Gottingen before emigrating to america in 1955. He received the Wolf Award in 1995 for his focus on non-linear differential equations. He wedded biologist Dr. Gertrude C. Courant on Sept 10, 1955. He was created in the same calendar year as fellow mathematician John Nash.
