She served as the movie director of america Children’s Bureau from 1912 to 1921, and devoted herself to children’s welfare and lowering infant morality rates. She graduated from Vassar University in 1880. In 1899, she set up the initial juvenile courtroom, and she became leader from the Juvenile Psychopathic Institute in 1904. Her dad, William Lathrop, was a co-founder from the Republican Party. She was appointed Movie director of america Children’s Bureau by Leader William Howard Taft.
