Judy Grahn

Feminist poet and non-fiction writer known for Bloodstream, Breads, and Roses: How Menstruation Created the World; Edward the Dyke and Additional Poems; The Queen of Swords, and additional functions. She was a receiver of the Lambda Literary Honor as well as the American Publication Award. She became a member of america Air Pressure, but was discharged at age group twenty-one due to her homosexual orientation. She trained at the brand new University of California with the Institute for Transpersonal Mindset. She was created in Chicago, but she spent the majority of her youngsters in the brand new Mexico desert. Grahn and Audre Lorde had been contemporaries and fellow lesbian, feminist poets.
