Josip Seissel

Croatian architect, visual designer, and metropolitan planner whose work was influenced by surrealism and abstract art. He became a member of the avant-garde Zenit motion within the 1920s. Also known by pseudonym Jo Klek. He examined on the Academy of Great Arts in Munich. He was honored the Grand Prix as well as the Order from the Legion of Honor with the French federal government in 1937 for his efforts to Paris’ Globe Exhibition. He received the Vladimir Nazor Prize for lifetime accomplishment in 1969. His wife, Silvana, donated a lot of his function towards the Museum of Modern Artwork in Zagreb. He and musician Fernando Villapol had been both known because of their abstract, surrealist functions.
