American molecular biologist who was simply only 33 yrs . old when he gained the 1958 Nobel Award in Physiology or Medication. He later proved helpful for NASA on the team that appeared forever on Mars. He examined under his co-winner from the Nobel Award, Edward L. Tatum at Yale School, and released with him a paper in 1946 displaying the E. Coli bacterial can interbreed. His breakthrough that bacterias can partner and exchange genes allowed researchers to use bacterias in genetic analysis, eventually resulting in research of DNA recombination.
