Served as a co-employee justice from the U.S. Supreme Courtroom from 1898 to 1925. He went to St. Joseph’s University as well as the Collegiate Institute at Benicia in California. He also offered as an associate from the U.S. Home of Staff and an U.S. Lawyer General. He wedded Amanda Borneman in 1869. He was nominated towards the Supreme Courtroom by Leader William McKinley.
