Joseph Hill

Best remembered because the songwriter and business lead vocalist for the root base reggae group Lifestyle, this Jamaican musician recorded more than 20 albums and released such hit music as “International Supplement,” “End Fussing and Fighting,” and “Two Sevens Clash.” Before building Culture within the middle 1970s, he got into the music sector as a disk jockey, drummer, and back-up vocalist. He was an associate from the Jamaican Rastafari religious movement. Pursuing Hill’s loss of life, his kid Kenyatta began executing with Culture. Spotting the depth of Hill’s contribution to Jamaican music and lifestyle, Perfect Minister Portia Simpson Miller shipped a eulogy at his 2006 funeral.
