Well known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning historical publication Founding Brothers: THE BRAND NEW Generation as well as for his Country wide Publication Award-winning work American Sphinx: THE TYPE of Thomas Jefferson, Ellis also wrote many works concentrating on the lives of 1st and second USA Presidents George Washington and John Adams. After graduating from Virginia’s University of William and Mary, he gained his doctorate from Yale University or college and subsequently trained in the U.S. Armed service Academy, accompanied by Support Holyoke University. He stirred controversy and was briefly relieved of his teaching responsibilities at Support Holyoke University after he falsely stated both to his university or college students also to press outlets that he previously served within the Vietnam Battle. Born and elevated within the Washington, D.C. region, he later resolved in Amherst, Massachusetts. His relationship to Ellen Wilkins Ellis led to three kids. Ellis’ works and the ones of fellow historic article writer Douglass Adair both concentrate on the United Claims’ Founding Fathers.
