Jose Bernal


Postmodernist musician known for “Drought in Paradise” as well as other whimsical paintings that manipulated form and color. He was also recognized for his modernist, abstract, and expressionist function. His early functions included “Campfire within the Woods” from 1950. He went to the School from the Artwork Institute of Chicago. He attained employment at department shop Marshall Field’s as Mature Developer in 1964. His artwork was placed on long lasting display by way of a amount of galleries, like the San Antonio Museum of Artwork as well as the Tucson Museum of Artwork and Historic Stop. He was raised in Cuba, where he received personal tutoring in music and artwork.
