Biography

Occasionally referred to as Jorge Chaves or Chaves. Among the architects who brought the present day Movement to Portugal in the second option area of the 1940s. Regularly collaborated with additional significant Portuguese architects, including Joaquim Ferreira, Miguel Jacobetty Rosa, and Porfírio Pardal Monteiro. He remaining his education in the Lisbon College of Good Arts to provide in the Portuguese expeditionary causes during World Battle II. He came back to the institution in 1944 and received the José Luis Monteiro Reward in 1946. He insisted on developing his own home furniture for his structures or at least using Portuguese-manufactured home furniture. His dad, Raul Pires Ferreira Chaves, was a Portuguese civil engineer and inventor. He aspired to transport within the legacies of such innovative architects as Frank Lloyd Wright.
