Jorge Bolet

Musician and educator known for his mastery of large-scale Romantic-era compositions, especially by Liszt, Chopin, and Franck. His debut recital arrived in 1937 after earning the Naumburg Competition. He published the piano soundtrack for 1960’s Track Without End starring Dick Bogarde as Franz Liszt, which received the Academy Honor for Greatest Music rating. He was created in Havana, but spent the majority of his amount of time in the Says. His family observed his talent young, and he joined Philadelphia’s Curtis Institute of Music. He was stationed in Japan during Globe Battle II, where he carried out japan premiere from the Mikado by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan.
