Biography

Irish writer of the satirical Gulliver’s Travels as well as the popular essay, A Moderate Proposal. He also offered as Dean of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin. He went to Trinity University, Dublin, where he gained his Doctor of Divinity level. He consequently became an ordained priest within the Founded Chapel of Ireland and was designated towards the prebend of Kilroot within the Diocese of Connor. INSIDE A Modest Proposal, he satirizes the English with a disagreement that facilitates the ingestion of human being infants. He was created in Dublin to Jonathan Swift and Abigail Erick, and his education was funded by his uncle, Godwin Swift. He’s speculated to get wedded Esther Johnson in 1716. His uncle, Thomas Swift, wedded a daughter from the poet and playwright, Sir William Davenant, a godson of William Shakespeare.
