Jonas Mekas

A pioneer of American avant-garde movie theater whose film Reminiscences of the Trip to Lithuania was determined for preservation in the Country wide Film Registry. He remaining his indigenous Lithuania in 1944 due to battle. He released one film each day in 2007 on his website, a task he known as The 365 Day time Project. He and his sibling Adolfas founded the film publication Film Tradition. He collaborated carefully with fellow avant-garde performers like Andy Warhol.
