Johnny Marks

Wrote A Holly Jolly Xmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Rockin’ Round the Xmas Tree, and additional holiday requirements. He went to Colgate University or college and Columbia University or college and gained a Bronze Celebrity and four Fight Stars in Globe Battle II. He was inducted in to the Songwriters Hall of Popularity in 1981. He wedded Margaret May Marks and was the nephew of famed Manhattan businessman Marcus M. Marks. His tunes were strikes for such performers as Gene Autry and Burl Ives.
