He constructed “Suicide is normally Painless,” the theme for the film and Television variations of “M*A*S*H.” He received the NEA Jazz Experts Award in 2011. His first credit originates from the 1958 film “I wish to Live!,” that was nominated for the Grammy. He caused a lot of history’s most well-known performers, including Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Count number Basie, Peggy Lee, and Anita O’Day. He was discovered to have ideal pitch by his mom Hannah, an opera vocalist, when he was five. He wedded Martha Blanner in 1970, with whom he previously a daughter called Marrisa in 1976. He co-wrote the theme melody for the film “The Sandpiper” with Paul Francis Webster. It gained the 1965 Academy Prize for Best Melody as well as the 1966 Grammy Prize for Melody of the entire year.
