John W. Henry

Businessman and sports activities mogul known primarily to be the main owner from the Boston Crimson Sox, which he purchased in 2002. Under his possession, the Crimson Sox earned their first Globe Series since 1918, breaking the infamous “Curse from the Bambino.” After plying his trading chops in agriculture in the 1970s, he opened up the brokerage company John W. Henry & Business in 1981. He bought his first group, the Tucson Toros, in 1989. Through his Fenway Sports activities Group, he bought Liverpool FC this year 2010. He also bought a 50% stake in Roush Fenway Race in 2007 and, in 2013, became primary owner from the Boston World. He was wedded to Peggy Sue Henry from 1993 to 2008. Then remarried in ’09 2009 to Linda Pizzuti. He offers two kids. He possessed the Florida Marlins from 1999 to 2002 before offering the golf club to Jeffrey Loria.
