John Seigenthaler

Best remembered like a journalist, editor, and publisher with Nashville’s The Tennessean newspapers, this one-time chief executive from the American Culture of Newspapers Editors also worked through the early 1960s while an associate to politician Robert F. Kennedy. Pursuing his graduation from Dad Ryan SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Nashville, Tennessee, he became a sergeant in america Air Pressure. After starting his journalistic profession, he required classes at Peabody University and Harvard and Columbia colleges. In the middle 1970s, he motivated future USA Vice Chief executive Al Gore, a family group friend and fellow journalist, to pursue a politics career. His relationship to Dolores Watson lasted from 1955 until his loss of life in 2014 and led to a child, John Michael Seigenthaler, who had a career like a news anchor. He and future Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Halberstam worked in the Tennessean through the same time frame.
