John Phillips

Nicknamed Papa John, he was the guitarist, singer, and songwriter who fronted the folk group The Mamas & the Papas. He shaped his initial doo-wop group while participating in Linton Hall Armed forces College in Virginia. His first proper music group was a folk trio known as The Journeymen. He had written the musical Man in the Moon in 1975. He previously been wedded four moments and was accused of experiencing an incestuous, nonconsensual relationship with one of is own daughters for a decade. He is the daddy of Mackenzie Phillips.
