John Panozzo

Drummer who have performed using the rock-band, Styx, the group known for tracks want “Mr. Roboto” and “Arrive Sail Aside.” He founded a music group called Tradewinds along with his neighbor and long term Styx bandmate Dennis DeYoung in 1961. When he was twelve years of age, he performed at wedding ceremonies. He was struggling to tour with Styx in the middle-1990s due to a struggle with cirrhosis from the liver organ, which led to his untimely loss of life at age forty-seven. He was raised along with his fraternal twin sibling, Chuck, in the Roseland community within the South Part of Chicago. His memory space was honored by Tommy Shaw inside a song entitled “Dear John.”
