He received the Nobel Tranquility Award in 1946 for his function in building and strengthening worldwide Protestant Christian pupil organizations that proved helpful to promote tranquility. He was a key figure on the Globe missionary Meeting in 1910. He was provided free passage in the Titanic in 1912 but changed it down and only a far more humble liner. He wedded Leila Ada Light in 1891, the few had four kids. George Williams founded the YMCA, a business that Mott devoted his lifestyle to serve.
