American spiritual figure and leader from the YMCA. He received the Nobel Tranquility Award in 1946 for his function in building and strengthening worldwide Protestant Christian pupil organizations that proved helpful to promote tranquility. He was a key figure on the Globe missionary Meeting in 1910. He was provided free passage in the Titanic in 1912 but changed it down and only a far more humble liner. He wedded Leila Ada Light in 1891, the few had four kids. George Williams founded the YMCA, a business that Mott devoted his lifestyle to serve.
