John McDermott

Renowned for his famous rendition of the original ballad “Danny Boy,” he’s also notable for his platinum albums Love Is really a Voyage; Old Close friends; and Christmas Remembrances, in addition to for his regular membership in the favorite music group The Irish Tenors. In the first 1980s, he founded a group known as The Mistletones. Ten years later, after documenting the wildly well-known single “Danny Young man,” he toured with both Chieftains as well as the Seekers.
