NFL Hall of Popularity restricted end who spent the majority of his profession using for the Baltimore Colts, 1963 to 1971; he passed away in 2011 of frontotemporal dementia. He performed college soccer at Syracuse School before signing up for the Baltimore Colts in 1963. He revolutionized the tight-end placement, putting up unparalleled numbers for typical yards per capture. He was wedded to Sylvia Mackey, who survived him after his loss of life. He captured a 75-lawn move from Johnny Unitas in Super Dish V, propelling the Colts to success within the Dallas Cowboys, 16-13.
