John Leventhal

This songwriter and music producer penned a lot more than 100 songs, dealing with such artists as Rosanne Cash, Michelle Branch, Loudon Wainwright, Willie Nelson, and Emmylou Harris. He gained a 1998 Grammy Award for the composing and production from the Shawn Colvin strike ‘Sunny Came House.’ He rose to popularity after creating Shawn Colvin’s acclaimed 1989 LP, Regular On. He created David Crosby’s third single recording, Thousand Streets. He married vocalist Rosanne Money (the girl of Johnny Money); they elevated their children mainly in NEW YORK. He created Marc Cohn’s 1993 record The Rainy Period.
