Ghanaian politician who served as Leader of Ghana’s Fourth Republic from 2001 to 2009. Ahead of keeping that post, he was Chairperson from the African Union from 2007 to 2008. During Ghana’s Second Republic, he offered being a minister in the Improvement Party. While he was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, he led the Ghanian delegation towards the US General Set up. During his period as Leader, he set up the National MEDICAL HEALTH INSURANCE Scheme, which signed up eleven million people. He wedded Theresa Kufour, with whom he previously five kids. In the initial calendar year of his presidency, he journeyed to america and fulfilled with then-U.S. Leader George W. Bush.
